1.Verse 1

Sanskrit

ॐ श्रीं ह्रीं क्लीं कमलवासिन्यै नमः॥

Hindi Translation

ॐ श्रीं ह्रीं क्लीं, कमल पर विराजमान देवी को नमस्कार॥

English Translation

Om Shreem Hreem Kleem, salutations to the goddess who resides on the lotus.

This mantra invokes the Tantric essence of Kamala, inviting abundance, grace, and higher consciousness.

2.Verse 2

Sanskrit

कमलां कमलाक्षीं च सरसिजसुतां शुभाम्। पद्मालयां पद्महस्तां श्वेतवस्त्रां शुभप्रदाम्॥

Hindi Translation

कमलवासी, कमलनेत्रोंवाली, कमल की पुत्री, शुभदायिनी देवी। पद्मालय, कमलहस्त, श्वेतवस्त्रधारी, शुभफल देनेवाली॥

English Translation

She who dwells in the lotus, lotus-eyed, daughter of the lotus, bestower of good. She who resides in Padma-loka, holds lotus in her hands, wears white garments, and grants auspiciousness.

Explanation

The verse elaborates on Kamala's serene, graceful presence, her connection with purity and blessings.

3.Verse 3

Sanskrit

वन्दे लक्ष्मीं मातरं श्रीरूपां करुणान्विताम्। सिद्धिदां मोक्षदां चैव धर्मार्थकाममोक्षदाम्॥

Hindi Translation

मैं लक्ष्मी माता को वंदन करता हूँ, जो श्रीरूपा, करुणामयी हैं। जो सिद्धि, मोक्ष और धर्म, अर्थ, काम, मोक्ष की प्रदायिका हैं॥

English Translation

I bow to Mother Lakshmi, embodiment of beauty and compassion. She grants success, liberation, and all four goals of life: dharma, artha, kama, and moksha.

Explanation

Kamala is praised as the universal giver of all human pursuits, from material well-being to spiritual realization.

4.Verse 4

Sanskrit

पद्मासनस्थां पद्मां च पद्मपत्रनिभेक्षणाम्। पद्मकेशीं पद्मगन्धां पद्मगर्भां च शार्वणीम्॥

Hindi Translation

कमलासन पर विराजमान, कमला, कमलपत्र जैसी आँखोंवाली। कमल केशवाली, कमलगंधवाली, कमल गर्भ से उत्पन्न, शार्वणी देवी॥

English Translation

Seated on a lotus, Kamala has eyes like lotus petals, hair fragrant with lotus, and emerged from the lotus womb — she is Sharvani (consort of Shiva).

5.Verse 5

Sanskrit

सर्वाभीष्टप्रदां देवीं सर्वसंपत्प्रदायिनीम्। नमामि कमलां देवीं सर्वसिद्धिप्रदायिनीम्॥

Hindi Translation

जो सभी इच्छाओं को पूर्ण करनेवाली, समस्त संपत्तियाँ देनेवाली देवी हैं। मैं उस कमला देवी को नमस्कार करता हूँ जो सम्पूर्ण सिद्धियाँ प्रदान करती हैं॥

English Translation

To the goddess who fulfills all desires and grants every treasure, I bow. Kamala, the bestower of all siddhis (spiritual powers).

Explanation

She is acknowledged as the divine force behind all prosperity — mundane and mystical.

Kamala is distinct from Lakshmi in that she remains centered in spiritual detachment and Tantric grace, combining inner beauty with outer wealth.
